Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit blindthoughts.com (the "site") and how it is used. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
The site itself has no accounts, no logins and no tracking profiles. We do not ask you for personal information, and we do not sell or share any. The limited data involved is:
- Anonymous usage counts. We keep aggregate counters of how many times a post is viewed and which source links are clicked. These are simple tallies and are not tied to your identity.
- Post reactions. If you use the thumbs up/down buttons, we store your vote against a one-way hash of your IP address combined with the date, purely to stop the same visitor voting twice in a day. The hash cannot be reversed to your IP and is not used to identify you.
- Server and CDN logs. Like all websites, our host and our content-delivery network (Cloudflare) process standard request data such as IP address and browser user-agent to deliver pages and block abuse. Cloudflare may set a strictly-necessary security cookie for this purpose.
Advertising and cookies
We may display ads served by Google AdSense. To do this, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
- For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see Google's partner-sites policy.
If you are in a region that requires consent for advertising cookies (such as the EEA or UK), Google's consent mechanisms apply where enabled.
Children
This site is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use the ad-settings links above to control personalized advertising. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading the site.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
